ATLANTA’S NEXT SIGNATURE SKYSCRAPER
The final beam has been placed atop 1072 West Peachtree, pushing Atlanta’s skyline higher and underscoring ongoing demand for large-scale vertical development.
Atlanta’s skyline is getting a dramatic new addition. On November 7, 2025, the 60-story mixed-use tower at 1072 West Peachtree officially “topped out,” marking the moment when the final structural beam was installed. The ceremony celebrated a milestone not just for the building, but for Midtown — and for the city as a whole.
Developed by Rockefeller Group (in partnership with Taisei USA and Mitsubishi Estate New York) and constructed by Turner Construction, 1072 West Peachtree will stand 749 feet tall once finished, making it the tallest building erected in Atlanta in over three decades and the city’s fifth tallest overall.
Set for completion in spring 2026, the tower will host 357 luxury apartments, eight floors of Class-A office space (about 224,000 square feet), and street-level retail. Residents and tenants will enjoy a generous suite of amenities including Midtown’s largest “Sky Garden,” an acre of indoor and outdoor recreational areas, a pickleball court, spa and fitness facilities, an indoor Pilates studio, and communal gathering spaces.
1072 West Peachtree’s design comes from local firm TVSdesign in collaboration with Brock Hudgins Architects. A sleek glass-and-steel tower, the structure redefines what mixed-use high-rises can look like in Atlanta.
Beyond its physical presence, the building signals confidence in Midtown’s growth trajectory and a renewed appetite for large-scale, vertically integrated developments. For a city whose last substantial skyscraper was over three decades ago, this moment represents a bold statement that Atlanta continues evolving — skyward and outward at once.
